Photo: Elliot Sneider

Life, Love & Lights is the theme of the July 18th concert-with-video at St. Peter’s Episcopal Hall.

When & where
Friday, July 18, 2014 @ 7:30pm
St. Peter’s Episcopal Hall
Cazenovia (near Syracuse), New York State

The program will contain a scene from Eleanor Roosevelt, an opera by Ithaca-based composer Persis Parshall Vehar, and a performance of her Life, Love & Timelessness.

Syracuse native Elliot Sneider, who recently earned his doctorate at Arizona State University, will perform in his new work City Colors/City Lights. This will be the first time the work is accompanied by video, in this case created by Syracuse videographer Courtney Rile.

Completing the program is Francis Poulenc’s much-loved Clarinet Sonata, his last work, and a work for two pianos by Michael Boyman, the NY Federation of Music Clubs Israel winner in 2014. Michael Boyman is a graduate student at Manhattan School of Music and the 2014 winner of BMI’s William Schuman award.

The performers are Victoria Krukowski, clarinet, Sar Shalom Strong, piano, Jonathan Howell, tenor & Elliot Sneider, piano.

Both Ms. Vehar & Mr. Boyman will attend the performance.
