Program

Georges Forget Eurosignal (2017)
    World premiere. To François Asselineau

Acousmatic, 8 channels. Eurosignal is an old paging system (pager), in use in Europe between the mid-70s and the late 90s. At that time, we could hear modulations of its coded signal at the lower edge of the FM band.
 
Robert Normandeau Melancholia (2017)
    Canadian premiere

Acousmatic, 42 channels. Melancholia has eight movements: black humour, nostalgia, anguish, boredom, reverie, anger, exhaustion and sadness.
 
Jean Piché Threshing in the Palace of Light (2017)
    World premiere

Mono-channel video and stereo sound. An audiovisual rendering of Samuel Beckett's one act play, Krapp's Last Tape. Featuring a performance by the actor Rick Cluchey in 1984.
