Una Voce Antica Tremila Anni
A Voice After 3000 Years

September 27, 2014 @ 11:30 am - 2:30 pm

A very special concert in Orvieto, Italy, organized by Walter Branchi, adds today's voice to a history of 3000 years.

In an underground chamber of the Cathedral of Saints Andrea and Bartolomeo in Orvieto, Italy, seemingly closed for centuries, only music without a place in the past, such as electronic music, can add its voice to three thousand years of history.

Archeological symbols of four civilizations—from a village nine centuries B.C., to the forum of an Etruscan city, to a sixth-century church with visible bits of an original mosaic pavement, to the initial structure of the Cathedral—come to life through the music of Walter Branchi, Francesco Galante, and Alessandro Cipriani.
